Toro Golf Course Architect Student of the year 2006
After picking up a club as a youngster and learning to play golf at The Royal Porthcawl, an old links in South Wales, my career meetings in school were straight forward. I knew Golf Course Architecture was the subject I was passionate about . Constantly drawing, sketching and planning routings on scraps of paper and for any site I could find was the driving force that led me to study landscape architecture at University.
After completing my undergraduate BA Hon’s Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture, I went on to be awarded a Distinction in the MSc in Golf Course Architecture at Edinburgh in 2006, and was presented with the Toro Student Architect of the Year Award.
Now a graduate member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects,
I am currently working in Paris as a Golf Course Architect.
